1. Cortana


          The windows 8.1 model users will get the support of cortana, an intelligent personal  assistant, for calling their dears by giving commands like “Skype call my Dad”. Cortana is presently available only in the United States of America.

2. Language Support


           The language supports that the version provides (from 19 to 51) will surely pave a way for more people to use Skype in their windows phones.

3. Edit Messages


          There is an option for editing your  last sent message.

4. Improved notifications


          By using this version you can get back to your conversations immediately as it appears with an improved  functioning of push notifications. 

5. Skype updates in the Action Center


          Apart from adding email, text and social media, the version provides Skype updates in the Action center of windows Phone 8.1.
