Internet has brought about a paradigm shift on how we access and consume information. The hardware is fast enough and the software intelligent enough. However, due to personal beliefs and perhaps lack of information some section of technology is still untapped. There are those with a firm belief that we are being watched (partially true) by a big brother and they try to avoid technology altogether. In other circles, some raise ethical questions on use of some software such as spyware in monitoring your children internet usage. Nevertheless, whether an individual chooses to access the internet or not, it is quite hard to limit the use for their children. The best you can do is monitoring how they do it to protect their young minds from filth found all over the internet. So the parents have an obligation to monitor their teenager’s internet use.
