Find My iPhone App Helps Find Missing Georgia Tech Student
Missing Georgia Tech student Jimmy Hubert was found injured but alive thanks to iPhone’s Find My App software. The 24-year old aerospace engineering student and Phi Delta Theta fraternity brother went missing on Friday and was not found until the following Monday morning laying face-down and severely beaten along railroad tracks in Atlanta. According to police, it looks like he was attacked, mugged and left for dead. "He's in ICU with broken vertebrae, broken ribs, broken scapula, punctured lung, blood on the brain, paralyzed left side (Hopefully temporary). He's in a lot of pain and on morphine resting,” said his mother Diane Hubert from the hospital. A friend who found him, told NBC affiliate WXIA that Hubert’s date had left her phone in Hubert's pocket which help them to locate the missing student—via the Find My iPhone app—nearly seven miles away from the party along the train tracks.
