Microsoft says Goodbye to Android; plan to shift all Nokia mobiles into Windows phone OS
World’s largest software maker Microsoft is saying adieu to Google ’s own operating system, Android. Microsoft is planning to shift its selected products from the Android- powered range to the platform of Windows. Mr. Stephen Elop, the Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Devices & Services business unit, revealed this news via an email to all the employees. To him from now onwards the Nokia X smartphones will be under Lumia brand and in future the Nokia X will work on the platform of Windows phone OS . Satya Nadellawe, the CEO of Microsoft says “We are working to integrate the Nokia Devices and Services teams into Microsoft. The first-party phone portfolio will align to Microsoft’s strategic direction.
