This is a new invention by a group of scientists from Bristol Robotics Laboratory , a collaboration between the University of the West of England and the University of Bristol . They invented how to generate electricity from urine by urinating into a microbial-fuel power stack . This microbial-fuel power stack contains ceramic cylinders with bacteria and when you pee urine is passed through the bacteria feed on chemicals in the urine and convert it into electrical energy.
